I am deeply passionate about connecting people with nature through fly fishing. Whether it's guiding on the river, hosting travel adventures, writing children's books or promoting conservation efforts as the West Slope Angling Representative, my goal is to inspire others to appreciate and protect the natural world. As a child, conventional was the name of the game in my family, and when I discovered fly fishing, the passion consumed me. I dove head first into the sport and it was my own version of fishing then what I had known as a child. The excitement and thrill of pursing various species on fly was unmatched and it's what feeds this hunger to travel, and explore. In the midst of a challenging childhood, fishing is what kept me grounded and in a lot of ways gave me an opportunity to reflect, heal and grow. It was the calm to the chaos. This passion for fly fishing, has allowed me to connect with people from around the world and it's inspired me to create a space and a platform that always remains authentic and inclusive. As I've stepped into this new chapter of motherhood, I have a new found purpose to share these adventures and experiences with my son, Colter. My children's book "To The River We Go" was published in hopes to foster a sense of wonder and curiosity for fishing, the outdoors and the world around him.
