I'm Kate and I live in Livingston Montana. I've got a raft with a fly fishing frame and experience rowing for fishing. Depending on how much gear is in the boat there is room for one or two more people!
If anyone lives along the way between Livingston and Dutch John we could carpool!
Hey all, I have some logistical questions that are admittedly due to lack of experience.
for the float trip are we camping along the river such that we need to pack everything for a multiday rafting trip (ie stove, camp tables, fire pan, groove, etc…) and if so how is that being coordinated? If not are we camping at the put in or somewhere else?
how should I rig my boat for fishing? I have floor boards I can rig in the bow and stern but if I have a lot of other gear it will be tight for more than one passenger. I assume those fishing will want a nice platform to cast from.

Hi!! I’m Claire and I live in Carbondale,CO. I’m really excited for this trip. I’ve never gone on an overnight river trip before but I’ve spent a fair amount of time fishing from boats. I love to backpack so I can help with food and gear too. I don’t have any river rowing experience but I did row crew in college so I’m so happy to learn!
I don’t have a boat but I’m comfortable rigging rods and also happy to help rig too. When I fish, I mostly wade creeks!
